Description Handsome bright golden yellow foliage covers this dense and globe-shaped shrub.

  Morphology:
Golden Globe Arborvitae is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a more or less rounded form. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. At maturity it forms a rounded ball 5’ tall and as wide.

During the winter the foliage may bronze (darken) but should return to its normal golden foliage in the summer.

  Adaptation:
This species prefers average to slightly acidic, sandy and well drained soil. Golden foliage accepts full sun exposure without sunburn.

Globe Arborvitae makes a great, carefree choice for accent plantings, or if grouped together, it would make a medium sized hedge or border.

  Pests:
None reported.
