Description Chinese Stonecrop is considered one of the classic ground covers as it spreads nicely and requires little upkeep.

  Morphology:
This is an evergreen ground cover that grows to 2”-4” in height and 12” in width. The foliage is round and grows flat across the ground. During the summer the leave are green, while in the fall they will turn a reddish bronze.

  Adaptation:
This stonecrop does best in full sun. It would be fine in a garden that is watered only occasionally during the summer months.

Yellow flowers form during the summer. Butterflies enjoy the nectar from these flowers.
One could cut and divide this plant in the spring in order to propagate it.

  Pests:
No problems are reported on this ground cover.
